Phulchowki Hill offers rich forests with a high diversity of species.Location: 16 km from Kathmandu, at an altitude of 2,760m.Target Birds: Spiny Babbler (Nepal's endemic bird), Cutia, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Rufous-bellied Pied Woodpecker, Black-faced Laughing Thrush. Return to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
Drive: 5-6 hours or take a short flight to Bharatpur, then transfer to Chitwan. In the afternoon, settle in and explore the surroundings for initial sightings.Overnight: Lodge near Chitwan National Park.
