You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. You may like to venture out to Thamel for your evening meal, or eat in the hotel restaurant if you are tired from your journey.Overnight Hotel. (Meals: B)

After a half day cultural and world heritage sites guided tour. Kathmandu has a lot to offer culturally and historically. We shall visit Pashupatinath, one of the most important Hindu temples in South Asia. One of the three Durbar Squares, a complex of palaces and temples which was formally the social, religious and administrative focal point of the ancient city. In the afternoon you fly to Pokhara. This is a spectacular and exciting flight in its own right passing over the Himalayan foothills, with views of the main range. On arrival in Pokhara you will be taken to the Hotel. Take some time to explore the city, relax, and prepare for the trek.Overnight Hotel.

Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From there, trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri. The trek involves a gradual ascent through terraced fields and lush forests.

Sunrise at Poon Hill, Trek to Tadapani. Early morning hike to Poon Hill to catch the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After sunrise, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani, which offers more great mountain views and a lovely forest environment.

  • Weather: The weather can vary, so be prepared for both sunny and chilly conditions, especially at higher altitudes.

Gear:  

  • Proper trekking gear is essential. Bring layers of clothing, sturdy trekking boots, a warm
  • sleeping bag, and rain gear. Also, pack light as the trek does not require technical equipment.

Whilst all our itineraries are carefully designed to optimise acclimatisation to high altitudes, participants on this trip are likely to experience some symptoms of being at altitude.
