Arrival at Paro International Airport: Enjoy a scenic flight with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong: A fortress-monastery with intricate architecture and historical significance.Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours): Enjoy the picturesque drive along the Paro-Thimphu highway.Thimphu Sightseeing:   Visit Tashichho Dzong (Thimphu Fortress).   Explore the National Memorial Chorten.Overnight in Thimphu.

Morning Sightseeing in Thimphu:   Visit Buddha Dordenma, a gigantic Buddha statue offering panoramic views of the valley.   Explore the Folk Heritage Museum and learn about Bhutanese rural life.Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass:    Stop at Dochula Pass (3,100m) to admire the 108 chortens and stunning Himalayan vistas.Visit Punakha Dzong: A stunning fortress located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.Take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple.Overnight in Punakha.

Drive back to Paro (4 hours): Enjoy the scenic return journey.En route, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan.In Paro, explore the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples.Stroll through Paro town for local shopping and exploration.Overnight in Paro.

Hike to Taktsang Monastery:    A 4-5 hour round trip to the iconic cliffside monastery.    Experience breathtaking views and spiritual ambiance.After the hike, relax and enjoy Bhutanese tea at the base.Optional visit to a local farmhouse for a traditional hot stone bath and cultural experience.Overnight in Paro.
