The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is a beautiful and diverse trek that combines the rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and pristine natural beauty of the Langtang Valley with the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda. Located to the north of Kathmandu, this region is less crowded than other popular trekking areas, offering trekkers a quieter and more authentic experience. It is especially known for its Tibetan-influenced culture, picturesque villages, alpine meadows, and breathtaking views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges.
The highlight of this trek includes exploring the remote Langtang Valley, visiting the famous Kyanjin Gompa, and trekking up to the sacred Gosaikunda Lake, a revered pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists alike. The trek passes through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, beautiful waterfalls, and high mountain terrains, offering an incredible variety of landscapes.

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the cultural sites of the Kathmandu Valley or preparing for the trek. Overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek. The drive takes you through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and offers views of the Trishuli River and the Ganesh Himal range. Overnight at a teahouse in Syabrubesi.
Begin the trek by crossing the Bhote Koshi River and ascending through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. Pass small villages like Bamboo and Pairo, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as red pandas and langur monkeys. The trail steadily climbs towards Lama Hotel, a tranquil stop nestled in the forest. The trek continues with a gradual climb through forests, crossing suspension bridges over rivers and streams. As you gain altitude, the valley opens up, revealing stunning views of Langtang Lirung. Pass through the settlement of Ghoda Tabela and continue to the traditional Langtang Village, which was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. Overnight at a teahouse in Langtang Village.
A shorter trek day, walking through yak pastures and small stone-built houses, as you make your way to Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual center of the region. Upon arrival, visit the famous Kyanjin Monastery and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Langtang Lirung and Dorje Lakpa. Take time to explore the area or visit the Kyanjin Cheese Factory, known for producing traditional yak cheese. Overnight at a teahouse in Kyanjin Gompa.
Spend the day exploring around Kyanjin Gompa. There are several day hike options:Kyanjin Ri (4,773m): A popular viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, and the glaciers.Tserko Ri (5,000m): A challenging climb but rewarding with even more spectacular views of the Langtang range. Retrace your steps as you descend back down the valley, passing through Langtang Village and Ghoda Tabela. The trail offers the opportunity to enjoy the mountain scenery and spot wildlife in the lush forests. Overnight at a teahouse in Lama Hotel.
Continue your descent through the forest to Pairo and cross the river before climbing up to the charming village of Thulo Syabru. Thulo Syabru is a traditional Tamang village, offering stunning views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal. Overnight at a teahouse in Thulo Syabru.
The trail ascends steeply through dense forests of rhododendron and oak, with chances to spot wildlife. As you climb higher, you'll pass through Dursagang and reach the beautiful pastureland at Laurebina, offering panoramic views of the Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and the Himalayas to the north. Overnight at a teahouse in Laurebina.
Today's trek takes you to the sacred Gosaikunda Lake, a holy site for both Hindus and Buddhists.The trail offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges and passes smaller lakes such as Saraswati Kunda and Bhairab Kunda before reaching Gosaikunda. Gosaikunda is surrounded by rugged mountains, and many pilgrims visit during the Janai Purnima festival. Overnight at a teahouse near Gosaikunda Lake.
6-7 hours.Start early for the challenging ascent to the Lauribina La Pass (4,610m), the highest point of the trek. After crossing the pass, descend through rocky terrain and forests to the remote settlement of Ghopte.  Overnight at a teahouse in Ghopte.
The trail continues through rhododendron forests, passing through Tharepati and descending to Kutumsang, a beautiful Tamang village. Overnight at a teahouse in Kutumsang.
Trek through terraced fields and small villages, with great views of the Himalayas in the distance. Reach Chisapani, a popular viewpoint for its sunrise and sunset vistas over the mountains. Overnight at a teahouse in Chisapani.
Descend through forests and villages to Sundarijal, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu.After completing the trek, take a short drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.
Rest day or explore the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES  in Kathmandu. Or shopping around Thamel. Overnight Hotel. 
Departure Transfer to International Airport to fly back Home.
